Unfortunately for Sam and Frodo, crossing the plains isn’t just hard because they’re filled with enemies. They’re also actually impossible to get down to from where they stand. They’ll have to keep going north and hope to find a way across where the plains are thinner and more level. Hopefully there won’t just be a tighter packing of orcs and such.
So, Frodo and Sam scurry back down the ridge and rustle through the ravine, staying just far enough from the road. Eventually, they come upon some sort of orc settlement, but hear voices approaching. Hiding out of the way, they see two orcs come up behind them.
So, I guess it’s mostly another page of walking. Once again. Is that just my way of saying that I don’t have the effort to talk about things? I don’t know. I hope not, entirely, but there’s just not always something that grabs me everyday.
Anyway, we’ll learn some more about these two orcs tomorrow, who seem to have some connection to the settlement ahead. They’re of two different breeds, so that’s interesting, I guess.
No one dies today.
